The guided tour will illustrate the masterpieces of Arnolfo di Cambio and Ghiberti in the Sala del Paradiso, Donatello's Maddalena and Michelangelo's Pietà. Finally, on the second floor, crossing the Galleria delle Formelle del Campanile di Giotto, it will be possible to see the two Cantorie by Donatello and Luca della Robbia. Crossing the square, you will reach the Baptistery, one of the oldest monuments in the city, which has undergone major restoration work. However, you will still be able to appreciate the marble flooring of the Baptistery, reminiscent of oriental carpets, and the representation of the Zodiac, rich in meaning and mystery.Important Information
Participants should arrive at the meeting point as indicated below. After undergoing security checks to access the monuments, they will meet the guides provided by Opera. The tour will begin with a brief presentation of the institutional function of Opera del Duomo, followed by a visit to the Duomo Museum and the Baptistery of San Giovanni.
